The rules are enforced for you
Every call is checked the moment it is accepted, so nobody has to add up hours by hand. Each school sets its own numbers.
- Yearly hours limit
- Each accompanist's accepted and worked hours are counted against your limit for the fiscal year. A call that would go over can't be accepted.
- Weekly hours limit
- The same check, week by week. An administrator can go over on purpose when it is needed.
- No double booking
- An accompanist can't accept two calls at the same time, even at two different schools.
- Hours count on acceptance
- A request holds nothing. The hours count once the accompanist says yes, and stop counting if the date is cancelled.
- Cancellation cutoff
- Accompanists can cancel on their own until your cutoff. After that, faculty or staff cancel for them.
- Confirmed hours
- After each date, faculty or an administrator confirm the hours actually played, ready for the worksheet.
